The JGW technical stitching machine allows for the addition of heating wires, fiberoptics, and other filaments to be incorporated into fabric. Techniques such as tailored fiber placement, or tailored wire placements create highly controllable material-to-fabric integrations with tight tolerances. The JGW machine is used in the composites industry to create net-preform composite parts saving material by only placing carbon fiber where it is needed mechanically.
